DETROIT (WXYZ) - She came into our homes for years as the host of Prize Movie on WXYZ, but now fans of Rita Bell can own a piece of her legacy forever.
Items in the Rita Bell collection will be auctioned off at DuMouchelle in Detroit this weekend. Some of the television personality’s signature items will be sold to the highest bidder including a couple Channel 7 broaches.
Along with Bell’s pieces, another collection featuring items left behind Detroit native David McElroy will also go on sale during the weekend. McElroy was a successful businessman who ventured into broadcasting and later banking.
