Emergency Financial Manager Robert Bobb is furious over transportation problems for Detroit Public Schools. He said that their largest bus provider had 127 out of 263 buses run late Tuesday morning.

On a scale of one to ten, Bobb said he would give the transportation service a one.
Bobb was out at 6:45 a.m. this morning, plenty early to catch the bus to Spain School at 7:15 a.m., yet the bus was a half hour late.

"This is inexcusable," Bobb said. " Parents are doing what we asked them to, now we need to deliver."

Later at a news conference at Fitzgerald Bethune School, an angry Bobb said "We have issues we need to address."

He added that if some of their providers aren't living up to the standards that the District has set for them "there will be hell to pay."
