84-year-old security guard shot and killed in church parking lot

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Neighbors say he was a fixture in the area, guarding his church by night. Wednesday evening the unidentified 84-year-old was shot and killed. 

Police are looking for two men in connection with the murder.

The elderly victim was in his car at the church, which is located at Vancourt and Tireman, when the two men approached him. A fight ensued and the 84-year-old was shot and killed.

Motive is unclear. It's not clear if the victim was robbed.
