DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police issued an all-clear after a suspicious suitcase was found at the Chase Bank downtown causing evacuations.
The suitcase in question was left on the steps outside the bank which is located on Woodward near Congress. The Bomb Squad denotated the suitcase and determined no explosives were inside.
Action News spoke with a homeless man who said the suitcase belonged to him. He requested it back saying his wife's jewelry was inside and he was trying to get home to California.
All previously closed roads and sidewalks have reopened at this time.
