DETROIT (WXYZ) - Terrifying moments for customers at a Walgreens on the city’s east side. An SUV came barreling through a fence and a brick pillar, spraying debris across a parking lot.
It happened around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to a witness, the driver of the SUV in question somehow lost control of his vehicle as he approached Mt. Elliott on E. Jefferson.
We’re told the driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital. His condition is not known.
It does not appear any customers at the Walgreens were injured.
