DETROIT (WXYZ) - A number of people who attended the Making Strides cancer walk in Detroit were stunned to return to their cars realizing they had been broken into.
Victims estimate at least 15 cars were targeted.
Thieves managed to smash windows and get away with a number of items, including purses and even a homecoming dress.
Victims tell 7 Action News a man with a pink flag waved them into a lot at Woodward and Sibley.
Detroit Police are investigating and victims filed reports with the department.
