DETROIT (WXYZ) - Three suspects are in custody following a police chase on Detroit's West Side.
Police believe the three men, ages 18 to 20 years old, are responsible for a break-in at a nearby home.
Around 7:45 a.m., DeAndre Watts returned to his house after dropping off his daughters at school and spotted an unfamiliar car in his driveway.
Two suspects sped away in the car, another on foot.
Detroit police officers spotted the suspects a couple of blocks away and gave chase.
The driver lost control of the car on Burt Road near Plymouth and hit a telephone pole. Nobody was hurt in the incident. Police say one of the suspects is the victim's nephew.
