(WXYZ) - A bad accident closed down part of the Lodge Freeway early Sunday morning.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash. It all unfolded before 6 a.m. on the northbound Lodge Freeway near the Linwood exit.
Right now, there are conflicting reports coming in. A witness involved in the accident tells 7 Action News his friend was killed when another driver rear-ended his car. However, police say the man was rushed to the hospital in very serious condition.
We're told he's a 24-year-old man.
The other driver, a woman in her early 20s, was also transported to the hospital. She suffered minor injuries.
