Two Detroit police officers taken to hospital after crash

DETROIT (WXYZ) - A DPD spokeswoman says two Detroit police officers were taken to the hospital in serious condition after a woman with a suspended license ran a stop sign and slammed into them on the east side.

It happened on Moross near Lansdowne around 9:30 Sunday evening. A DPD spokeswoman says the officers were in a marked squad car.

The 47-year-old female driver was arrested at the scene.

The officers are listed in temp serious condition.
