Water main break floods Detroit east side neighborhood streets

DETROIT (WXYZ) - A water main break in one Detroit neighborhood is making a mess for the morning commute.

The break happened on the city's east side near Lappin and Reno streets, just northeast of 7 Mile and Schoenherr.

Water was pouring up from the ground and flooding the street.

Repair crews are now on the scene and have shut off the water main.
