DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police are investigating an apparent attack on a woman on the city's west side.
A woman who says she was held hostage, raped and beaten was found lying naked and bloody in a field at Linwood and Tuxedo.
People passing by ran to her aid and called police. One good Samaritan named "Kenya" says the victim told her that when her captor went to the bathroom she jumped out a window in a boarded up home.
"Kenya" says, "She was bleeding all over, no one deserves to be treated like that."
As the victim was been taken to the hospital, police went into the home and animal control officers removed two dogs.
The investigation is ongoing. If you have any information, you're asked to contact Detroit police.
