DETROIT (WXYZ) - Officials say a woman's body that was found in Detroit last week has been identified.
Aisha Fletcher disappeared on January 7.
Police now say her body was found by DPW workers in a vacant lot on Louisiana Street last week.
Fletcher's grandmother says knowing Aisha's body has been found gives her some closure.
Medical examiners say a cause of death is still pending. They also say Fletcher may have been in the field since she went missing in January.
