(WXYZ) - The suspect in the I-96 corridor shootings has been arraigned on charges related to the shootings in 53rd District Court in Howell.
Raulie Casteel was arraigned Wednesday afternoon. He remains locked up on a $2 million bond.
Casteel is facing six counts related to the shootings in Livingston County; one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of assault with a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent, one count of discharging from a vehicle and three counts of felony firearms.
He is also expected to face charges in other jurisdictions. A preliminary exam conference has been set for November 14.
The 43-year-old was arrested Monday night at a home in Wixom. He is accused in 24 shootings along the I-96 corridor since October.
Sources tell 7 Action News the tip that lead his arrest came from one of the shooting victims who was re-interviewed and gave investigators information about a partial license plate that they tracked to the car that was towed from the house in Wixom.
