HOWELL, Mich. (WXYZ) - An Ypsilanti man is now facing charges in connection with last week's incident in Putnam Township.
Police say Andrew John McCormick was at the center of a police chase that ended with a standoff at a Putname Township home on Friday.
McCormick has been charged with Home Invasion, Fleeing and Eluding, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Justice and Malicious Destruction of Police at Fire Property.
Police say McCormick ran into the Putnam Township home after running from officers who were trying to make a traffic stop . He was arraigned on the charges in 53rd District Court in Howell on Saturday.
McCormick's bond has been set at $50,000. He is due back in court on April 8.
