BRIGHTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Police are searching for the man who held up a Brighton Township PNC Bank this morning.

The robbery happened at the W. Grand River Ave branch at around 9:40 am.

Surveillance pictures show a man come into the bank, pull out a semi-automatic handgun and demand money.

After the robbery, police say, the man ran away with an undisclosed amount of money. A sheriff's department K-9 team attempted to track the man, but were unable to find him.

The man is described as about 5'6" tall and small in stature. He was wearing a baggie black or dark blue and tan or gray colored hooded coat with dark colored wind break type pants and dark colored gloves.

The coat had unique black or blue and white stripes wrapped around the elbow area.

The suspect was also wearing a dark colored scarf around his mouth and dark colored sunglasses.
