HAMBURG TOWNSHIP, Mich, (WXYZ) - The Hamburg Township Police have released a composite sketch of a man suspected to be involved in a possible attempted abduction.
The incident happened on May 18 when a woman was walking her two-year-old grandson and her dog on Chambers Road. According to the victim, a vehicle driven by a white male in his late 40s or 50s pulled up in front of her and offered her a ride.
When the offer was declined the victim says the suspect exited the vehicle, repeating his offer to give her a ride and then grabbed her wrist.
The victim forcibly pulled away from the suspect. He then returned to his car and drove northbound on Chambers Road.
The suspect is described as 5'10", 180 lbs. with reddish-brown and gray hair. His face was tanned and wrinkled. He had thick mustache with noticeable sideburns and was wearing a green and brown camouflage jacket.
The suspect's vehicle is described as and older four-door, possibly a Pontiac Grand Am, black in color with rust on the driver's door and trunk.
