CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Fire investigators are on the scene of a fatal fire in Clinton Township.
It happened Sunday on Remick Drive.
7 Action News is being told that 21-year-old Josh Luczak was killed in a fire.
One of Luczak's friends says he and another friend has spent the night watching skateboarding videos with Luczak.
They went to bed early this morning, with Luczak moving to his mother's room when she went to work at 6:30 am.
The friend tells 7 Action News that the next thing he know someone was yelling that the house was on fire. He tells us that there was smoke everywhere and that he jumped out of the windows to escape.
Both the friend and a neighbor tried to rescue Luczak, but could not get to him. The friend say he believes Luczak never woke up.
Firefighters later found Luczak's body in bed.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
