Grand jury investigating Warren trash operations

WARREN, Mich. (AP) - A suburban Detroit mayor says a federal grand jury wants records about Warren's trash trucks.
A subpoena from the grand jury seeks documents about the purchase of trash trucks and records that explain the relationship between Warren and a company that runs Detroit's trash incinerator.
Warren Mayor Jim Fouts disclosed the grand jury probe this week. He says he's shocked by the subpoena and has ordered the city attorney to cooperate.
The documents include emails sent or received by a high-ranking official in the Public Services Department.
Warren's trash is taken to a Detroit incinerator.
