WARREN, Mich. (WXYZ) - 7 Action News is learning new information about the crash in Warren that split a car in half.
Warren police tell us the driver is a 24-year-old man.
Investigators believe he had been drinking and speeding when he crashed on Schoenherr near 12 Mile around 2:30 Tuesday morning.
Right now, he's in the hospital in critical condition with fractures to his face, skull and torso, as well as third-degree burns.
