Three hurt in crash involving an EMS unit in Shelby Township

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Police say three people were injured in a crash that involved an EMS unit in Shelby Township.
The accident happened at the intersection of 23 Mile and Schoenherr. Officials say the accident involved a Shelby Township ambulance and a pickup truck.
Police say two of the injured people are fire department personnel. It's not certain who the third injured person is.
The crash and investigation shut down the intersection for several hours.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
