CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Firefighters responded to a large fire at an apartment building in Clinton Township.

Flames could be seen shooting out from the The Harbours Apartment building located at Hall Road near Heydenreich.

The fire broke out around 9:25 a.m.

Investigators believe the fire started in the attic, but it is still too early to determine an exact cause.

The fire was extinguished, but firefighters are still watching out for any hot spots.

No one was hurt, but several apartments were severely damaged.

Some residents were told they lost everything.
