Firefighters rescue woman in burning Eastpointe home

EASTPOINTE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Firefighters rescued a woman from a burning home in Eastpointe on Sunday.

Officials say she had smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital.

The blaze started in the kitchen of the home located near I-94 between 8 and 9 Mile Roads.

Coincidentally, the last name of one of the firefighters who rescued her is "Cupid."
