HARRISON TWP., Mich. (WXYZ) - The Macomb County Sheriff's Department reported a gas main break in Harrison Township.
The gas main ruptured near South River Road east of Macomber. The main road was closed for a period of time, but has now been reopened.
There were no injuries reported.
Homes and businesses in that area could be without gas until Saturday morning.
Consumers Energy expects to restore service to everyone by 4 p.m. at the latest.
