CENTER LINE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Emergency crews responded Monday as a Jeep crashed through the front windows of a local hardware store.
A black Jeep Wrangler could be seen outside the ACO Hardware store at 7513 E. Ten Mile Rd, at Van Dyke, in Center Line.
Police say an 85-year-old Center Line resident was behind the wheel of the Jeep. They say, "The driver had pulled his Jeep into the parking space in front of the store when his foot slipped off the brake pedal and hit the accelerator."
The driver was not injured and police tell 7 Action News that no one inside the hardware store was hurt.
