ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) - A party bus stolen outside a 7-Eleven in Roseville was found ripped apart, stripped down and abandoned in a field in Detroit.
The driver had left the keys in the cup holder and went inside to the convenience store at 12 Mile and Utica Roads for some snacks around 2:00 a.m.
"Our owners are great people and they don't deserve this," said Bill, the driver, who did not want his last name used.
The luxury vehicle belongs to Satisfaction Limousines in Lenox.
The driver had just picked up the bus to have it ready for an early call for today’s Detroit Tigers game.
This morning, the luxury Chevrolet 5500, worth at least $140,000, was found in southwest Detroit.
"This vehicle was specifically requested by a wedding for this Saturday," said Robert Hamilton, manager of Satisfaction Limousines.
The company is now working with others in the business to make sure no upcoming events are canceled.
