(WXYZ) - The Macomb County Medical Examiner has completed the autopsy on two-year-old Damian Sutton.
Dr. Daniel Spitz has determined that Sutton died of blunt force trauma.
Sutton spent days in a medically induced coma after, police say, he was shaken by Ronald Dimambro. He died after being removed from life support yesterday.
Because of the autopsy results, Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith is increasing the charges against Dimambro.
“Violence against Macomb County children will not be tolerated. The full weight and resources of this Office will be used to seek justice for Damian Sutton” said Smith said in a statement.
Dimambro will be arraigned on a First Degree Felony Murder Charges on September 10 at 9:00 am.
