CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Police have arrested a man accused of stabbing a woman in the drive-thru window of a McDonalds during a robbery.
It happened at the store in the area of 23 Mile and I-94.
Police say the woman was paying her food when her car was approached by Roland Lee Moore, Jr. Witnesses say Moore lunged through the woman's open window and grabbed her purse and laptop.
The woman attempted to fight Moore off, but police say he stabbed her hands several times with a knife before running away.
Officers say a man who was behind the woman in the drive-thru chased Moore with a bat, but he was able to escape across 23 Mile Road on a bicycle.
Moore was wanted for armed robbery and assault with intent to go great bodily harm. He was also wanted on a parole absconder warrant.
Moore also has an extensive criminal record.
