ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) - UPDATE: Violet Asaro has been located by police and appears to be OK.
The Roseville Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing 85-year-old woman who may suffer from dementia.
Violet Asaro reportedly went for a walk on Sunday and did not return home. She was last seen walking toward Gratiot Avenue.
The Roseville K-9 unit lead police to a bus stop on Gratiot.
Detectives say it's possible that Violet boarded the bus to head to her prior residence or was headed to the area to see friends.
Violet is approximately 5'-5" tall with a very thin build. She has short sandy-brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hair net, an orange sweater-hoodie coat, black pants and pink water shoes. She was carrying a black purse.
She previously lived on Central in Detroit near Dix and Vernor.
