Mount Clemens, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Macomb County Sheriff says a man said to be a person of interest in the attack of a 69 year old Macomb Township woman was arrested in New York following a high speed chase.

The sheriff says the man was behind the wheel of a stolen car from Grosse Pointe Farms.

The sheriff says the man will most likely face charges in New Jersey and New York before he's brought back to Michigan where he'll face questions regarding the attack of the woman who was stabbed twice in the neck.
