(WXYZ) - The Macomb County Sheriff's office is asking for the public's help to find a missing veteran.
Richard Furdock was last seen on October 21 at around 5:15 am, when he was brought to the Veterans Affairs Hospital on John R in Detroit for an appointment.
However, the sheriff's office says Mr. Furdock's appointment was canceled just before his visit and he never arrived at the hospital.
Furdock also did not return to the group home he is living at in the Village of New Haven.
Furdock is 59-years-old. He is 6' tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and close-cropped brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue varsity jacket and blue jeans.
He does suffer from an unspecified mental illness.
Anyone with information about Furdock's whereabouts is asked to contact the Macomb County Sheriff's Office at (586) 469-5151 or (586) 307-9358.
