STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Police say they are still trying to identify the human remains that were found in a sewer on 15 Mile Road.
Workers discovered the body parts on August 15 while working in the area of 15 Mile Road, just east of Maple Lane.
Test have revealed that the remains are from a Caucasian woman with a large build.
At the time the remains were discovered, police released pictures of a tattoo in the hopes that it would help with identification.
Officials say DNA will be entered into state and federal systems in the hopes of gaining an ID.
