EASTPOINTE, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Macomb County Sheriff's Department has charged two people with trying to hire someone to kill an Eastpointe woman and her two children.
Investigators say the suspects are the woman's 38-year-old boyfriend and her 20-year-old half sister.
Deon Lamont Taylor and Kenisha Latori Faison have both been charged with three counts of Solicitation of Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Homicide - Murder First Degree.
Both were arraigned in 41-B District Court. Taylor's bond was set at $1 million, Faison's bond was set at $500,000.
Investigators say both Taylor and Faison provided specific details about the proposed murders of the 31-year-old woman and her 12 and 9-year-old children, including location, means and financial details.
The investigation is ongoing.
