WARREN, Mich. (WXYZ) - If you plan to smoke in the city of Warren, you won't be able to do it within 100 feet of public buildings.
Mayor Jim Fouts issued an order that affects all public buildings in the city. The first three targeted by the ban include, City hall, The Police Station and the District Court.
Within a month, all city buildings will have bright yellow signs with red and black wording that reads: "No smoking within 100 feet of building."
The mayor says the ban includes everyone, even elected officials.
