TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) - A Sterling Heights man is behind bars, suspected in a string of home invasions throughout Metro Detroit.
28-year-old Wisam Youkhana was arraigned in Warren today.
A Troy police officer spotted a vehicle matching the description of the one used during the home invasions.
Investigators started watching the driver, and that's when they say they caught him breaking into a home in Warren.
When officers searched Youkhana's vehicle, they found hundreds of stolen items, including watches, jewelry and electronics.
Police believe Youkhana is responsible for as many as four home invasions in Troy. Police say all owners of the items have been identified.
