FRASER, Mich. (WXYZ) - Utica Road is closed in both directions between Groesbeck Highway and 13 Mile in Fraser due to gas main break.
Officials say a construction crew hit a gas line while working in the area. Crews are working to repair the damage, but say the work is being made difficult because the broken 4 inch main is under concrete.
The road is expected to remain closed for the next several hours.
There are no reports of evacuations or injuries.
