BLOOMFIELD TWP., Mich. - Bloomfield Township Police Department arrested two men from Detroit for attempting to steal a tire to replace a flat tire on their vehicle.
According to the report from Bloomfield Township Police, the two were driving South on Telegraph when a tire on their vehicle went flat.
They attempted to steal a replacement tire from two different vehicles but neither would fit their car.
They gave up attempting to find a tire that would fit their vehicle and decided to continue south on just the rim. Officers spotted the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on Telegraph near Lone Pine for driving an unsafe vehicle.
After talking with witnesses and reviewing store surveillance video, police arrested 21-year-old Marcele Holt and 22-year-old Antonio Bragg.
Both have been charged with Felony larceny from auto and are currently being held at the Oakland County Jail.
