Boyfriend charged in murder, dismemberment of Farmington woman

(WXYZ) - William Dhondt has been charged with First Degree Premeditated Murder in the death of his girlfriend Kaitlin Hehir.
Dhondt was arraigned in a Berkley court Tuesday afternoon where police described a horrific assault that unfolded after the pair argued Sunday.
Police say Dhondt confessed to assaulting and strangulating Hehir. He then dragged her body into the basement of her home on the 2300 block of Colchester in Farmington. It was there that Dhondt spend several hours dismembering her body.
Hehir was a clerk in at 47th District Court in Farmington Hills which forced the case to be relocated after all the judges at 47th District Court recused themselves.
