NOVI (WXYZ) - The accused I-96 shooter Raulie Casteel is scheduled for a second competency hearing Thursday, this time in Oakland County.

Wednesday Casteel was ruled competent to stand trial in Livingston County. He is accused of opening fire on drivers along a stretch during a two week period this past October. One victim was struck when a bullet entered his driver's side door and hit him in the butt.

Casteel faces a litany of charges, the most serious of which are Assault with Intent to Murder and Domestic Terrorism. Both carry a maximum life in prison sentence, should he be convicted.

In addition to Livingston and Oakland counties, Casteel also faces charges in Ingham and Shiawasee.

Casteel is set to appear in a Novi District Court at 1:30 p.m.
