BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., (WXYZ) - A visitation and funeral has been set for Peter Catcho, an Andover High School student that died at his home Wednesday night after complaining of chest pains and a numbness in his arm.
It is reported 17-year-old Peter Catcho lifted weights after school, went home sent a Tweet to his friends that his heart was beating fast. The tweet read: "Heart beating really fast for some reason, dad said I might go to the ER hopefully it stops soon."
Police say he was found by one of his parents, dead at 6:55 a.m. Thursday.
Everyone at Andover High School is shocked and saddened at the sudden loss of a classmate who died Wednesday night after experiencing chest pains and numbness in his arm. Students say Peter Catcho was very popular; a great young man who had tons of friends.
Students have organized a vigil to take place Friday night in front of the high school from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Grief counselors have been on hand at the school to help students cope with the loss. The Medical Examiner says the exact cause of death is pending but they will look at his heart to see if there was an undetected problem.
Visitation will be held at the Southfield funeral home Friday March 18, 2011 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm.
Funeral church services will take place at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Birmingham on Saturday at 10:00 am.
Interment: will follow church services at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 10 Mile & Beech Rd
