PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) - Closing arguments are expected Monday in the case of a 75-year-old woman accused of killing her own grandson.

Attorneys for Sandra Layne are arguing that the Oakland County woman killed 17-year-old Jonathan Hoffman in self-defense.

Layne wrapped up two days on the stand on Friday by answering questions from the jury. She testified that shortly before she shot him, Hoffman was raging and chased her after failing a court-ordered drug test.

The jury is expected to begin deliberations early this week.
