AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Auburn Hills Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a suspect in the attempted robbery of a Chase Bank.
The incident happened on Monday at around 2:30 pm at the Chase Bank branch in the 3400 block of Auburn Road. The branch is at the corner of Squirrel and Auburn.
Police say the suspect handed the teller a note demanding money. However, he left the bank empty handed. It is not known if he drove away from the scene.
The man is described as being in his late 20s to early 30s. He is between 5'10" and 6'0" tall with a slim build and facial hair. He was wearing a black/purple "California Angels" baseball cap, charcoal-grey coat and black pants.
