ORTONVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Students have been evacuated from Brandon High School in Ortonville after a written threat was found in the building.

According to the district's website , the students are being evacuated as a precautionary measure to the west end parking lot and were taken to Harvey Swanson's football field by bus.

The school is working with the Oakland County Sheriff's Department to investigate the threat. A thorough sweep of the school building is being conducted at this time.
