NOVI, Mich. (WXYZ) - Looking For Work? Grab a copy of your resume, dress for success and head out to Novi on July 1st.

A free career expo will be held at Novi's Rock Financial Showplace on Thursday. The expo is hosted by HiredMYWay.com and seeks to put Michigan back to work.

More than 30 companies will be on hand, looking to fill 3,000 different positions from technology to finance to engineering.

Erinn O'Connor is the co-founder of hired MYway.com and says, "The job search is frustrating, but we are looking to change that by putting people in front of employers that are hiring in a big way."  O'Connor means that literally. The organization will be pre-qualifying candidates and setting up interviews at the career fair in order to help both the employer and employee find the right match.

Doors open to job seekers at 9:00 a.m. Thursday. There is no charge to attend the event or to park.

Personal interviews with recruiters will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Rock Financial Showplace on Grand River in Novi.
