FARMINGTON HILS, Mich. (WXYZ) - New details are emerging about the troubled past of Tucker Cipriano, the 19-year-old man accused of attacking members of his family with a baseball bat and killing his father.

Court records show Cipriano has a record for drug charges, both for possession and use. He has served time in jail relating to those charges.

He is currently on probation.

Also in Cipriano's court file is a letter he wrote addressing his current probation while he was in the Oakland County Jail. In the letter he asks questions about entering the Marine Corps.

He writes, "Its always been a dream of mine and I would like to know what I have to do to see it out."
