M-5 in Novi reopens after deadly accident

NOVI, Mich. (WXYZ) - A deadly accident shut down a stretch of M-5 near I-696 in Novi for more than 3 hours Monday afternoon.
Michigan State Police say two vehicles were involved.
One of the vehicles was a plumbing truck. It reportedly veered off of the freeway then crashed on its side at M-5 and I-696 right near the 12 Mile exit in Novi.
All of the contents inside the truck littered the side of the freeway.
M-5 near I-696 reopened shortly after 8:20 p.m.
