Dozens of employers looking to hire at Friday career fair

TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) - Get those resumes ready.
With Michigan's unemployment rate sitting at 8.5 percent, the "Hired In Michigan" Career Expo hopes to put people back to work.
The career fair, sponsored by JobFairGiant.com and Sion Recruitment, will take place Friday at the Marriot Hotel-Troy from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Hiring employers include Metlife, T-Mobile, Workforce Software, Grass America, IGate Patni, United Road, Griffin Pest Solutions, Motor City Electric Co., Hansons Windows & Siding, Aflac Insurance and others.
