Suspected bank robber

FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Police are searching for a suspect that robbed the Huntington Bank at 306 W. 9 Mile Road in Ferndale on January 13, 2012.
The male suspect went to the bank just before closing time at 4:30 pm. He handed the teller a note demanding money and implied he had a gun.
The teller gave the thief cash and the suspect fled out the back door running north through the parking lot.
Ferndale police describe the suspect as a black male, in his 40’s, about 5’10’ to 6’0”, thin build, wearing a blue jacket with a Super Bowl Millennium label.
The suspect may have been involved in other robberies. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Citizens should not attempt to approach this suspect.
