FERNDALE POLICE: Man wrapped in towel points gun at victim at Motorama Motel

FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Ferndale police officers arrested a 69-year-old man who allegedly pointed a gun and threatened another man at the Motorama Motel on 8 Mile Road.

The incident happened around 4:15 a.m. on Monday morning.

The victim told police the man, Arnold Parker, came out of his room with a towel wrapped around his waist holding a handgun.

Parker reportedly pointed the gun at the victim and told him to get away from his car.

The victim then called police. Officers arrived and called Parker out of his room. He came out and was arrested without incident.

Officers recovered a .44 magnum semi-automatic pistol and a Remington rifle from his hotel room.

Parker has been arraigned and personal bond was set at $1500.
