WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) - Mourners gathered to pay their final respects to Officer Patrick O'Rourke during a funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 600 N. Adelaide in Fenton.
The streets around the Church were lined with police and others paying respects.
Officer O'Rourke's wife Amy spoke during the service.
Governor Rick Snyder has ordered that flags fly at half staff across the state in honor of Officer O'Rourke on Friday.
Trust Fund To Help The Family

The organizers say donations will benefit the health, education and welfare of Officer O'Rourke's family and help his dreams for them, live on.
