(WXYZ) - Testimony continued Friday for Mitchell Young in the Cipriano baseball bat murder trial.
Young is charged with First Degree Murder in the beating death of Bob Cipriano. He is accused of beating Cipriano to death with a baseball bat, alongside Cipriano's son, Tucker.
The first officers on the scene of the attack took the stand Friday. They described the horrific scene in graphic detail.
In addition to testimony, jurors were shown gruesome photos of the crime scene.
Tucker pleaded no contest to the charges earlier this week to avoid a trial. Under the terms, Tucker will spend the rest of his life in prison without parole.
Thursday, a friend of Young and Cipriano's testified that the two planned the attack. Ian Zinderman said the pair picked assignments for the night, deciding who would be responsible for killing each family member.
Tucker's mom, Rose Cipriano and brother Sal were also beaten.
